Arriving at the Festival ~ Please Read Carefully
The 2014 Hangtown Halloween Ball gates open at 8am on Friday, October 24th. Three day pass holders who have purchased early access online or wish to do so at the gate may arrive as soon as NOON, Thursday, October 23. Doors for the early entry show open at 4pm Thursday, and the music starts at 7pm.
We advise buying tickets and parking in advance; our online prices are available through Tuesday, October 21st at midnight. After that, please see box office for at-door purchases and upgrades as available. Please note that three day passes are valid at 9am Friday, two day passes are valid at 9am Saturday.
Parking hours coincide with box office hours; if you arrive after the box office closes, you will need to wait until the next day to park or enter the fairgrounds, including Mystery Meadow.

(South Lake Tahoe, CA, September 9, 2014) – Railroad Earth’s 4th Annual Hangtown Halloween Ball running October 24-26, 2014 at Placerville Food Co-Op in Placerville CA today announced the locals only ticket discount.
Due to the fire we have moved the locals only tickets to the Placerville Food Co-Op.

Advance tickets are cash only. In order to get the locals discount, people must present a valid ID to the Fairgrounds office with one of these zip codes from the surrounding areas and neighborhoods: 95613, 95619, 95623, 95633, 95651, 95667, 95709, 95614, 95634, 95635, 95636, 95672, 95682, 95684, and 95726. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $48.00 each and Sunday tickets are $40.00 each with a limit of two tickets per ID. Sunday is Family Day and kids 12 and under are free.

Located in a dream festival setting, this year’s event takes place the weekend before Halloween, allowing attendees to ramp up to their usual Halloween romp. For those that wish to get costumed and a little wild under the Harvest moon, the festival site features shaded camping, running water and hot showers for festival patrons to clean up after a night of Masquerade.
With featured performances on two stages, late night music and roving performances with Allie Kral, Jeff Austin and Danny Barnes the festival is known for providing the perfect atmosphere for late night jams and improvisational music of all kinds.
